The island of Capri can be reached by hydrofoil or ferry boat from Naples or Sorrento and, during the summer season (June - September), from the Amalfi coast and Ischia. The hotel is situated just 200 metres away from the legendary Piazzetta of Capri. From the port, guests can reach the centre of Capri by taxi, bus, or the funicular railway which brings passengers to the heart of Capri in Piazza Umberto I. A short stroll along the elegant main street (Via Vittorio Emanuele) and one of the island’s most characteristic lanes (Via F. Serena) leads visitors towards the Augustus gardens and the Hotel La Residenza.

On arrival at the port guests are greeted by a hotel representative (recognisable by uniform) who will organise the transportation of their luggage . The cost of the service can be settled on departure from the hotel. Reception staff will be pleased to organise hotel guests’ travel arrangements to and from the island as well as limousine services from Naples or Rome airports, taxi boat and helicopter transfers.
