La Residenza: Part of
the Capri’s History
Built in 1956, Hotel La Residenza began as an expansion of the historic Villa Caterina, residence of the Prince Caracciolo. Shortly thereafter, the hotel was acquired by the De Angelis family, well-known island hoteliers, who are the owners to this day. Over the decades, the complex has expanded to be the second largest on Capri and includes guest rooms and suites, a dining room and bar, outdoor pool and terrace, and garden.
